Going 5 starts because that's the level of service I received. Fair warning this is a long winded review based on my experience.
I had gone in to look at a jeep they had online for my girlfriend as a winter vehicle. Was met with a friendly welcoming smile from Annette and she helped locate it as it was in detail and I got to poke around and look it over. I had been speaking with Jake about it not realizing my gf had been contacted by Annette and she made connection that I was there for my gf. I had a great experience talking with Jake and getting questions answered before I even came down.
After looking it over and giving my thoughts, my girlfriend decided she really liked it and wanted to make the purchase. Let me preface this by saying, my other half was not there for this whole process.
I sat down with Annette and made some calls while Scott worked on finance numbers. They mentioned they could deliver the car and the paperwork to our house and that was a shock to me and my gf because it really made the legistics part way easier for us as I was going out of town and she's a full time nurse and nursing student while doing clinicals so her schedule is crazy.
Met with Kathleen to go over the paperwork via speakerphone and myself in person and she made it straightforward and very easy to understand. Some of that can be very confusing for people (myself included) and it just wasn't with her. A+
After that all was done and I headed home. A few hours later the jeep was delivered with a few issues that weren't present when I looked at it earlier. (One wasn't an issue for me to handle the other was a bit more involved) The driver promptly called Scott where him and I spoke about what the issues were and what we could do to facilitate a resolution. This doesn't typically happen with dealerships trust me I've worked at a few. He was very understanding.
After a few weeks we got the jeep back after a highly qualified mechanic friend did the repair and it's perfect it was a great jeep before too.
This whole experience dealing with shottenkirk in Quincy has really been great despite the set backs. The sales team I dealt with Annette & Jake were an absolute pleasure. The team was patient, understanding, and accommodating to the situation we (on both sides) were dealing with.
I'll finish off by saying this, being in the automotive industry this level of customer service doesn't come overnight. It takes the right group of people who can and do work together really well to get this good. So if you're in the market for a new Toyota or just a new to you vehicle and around the Quincy IL area or even if you're not in the area, definitely go give them a chance to earn your business. They've earned mine. Make sure to ask for Annette or Jake because you won't be disappointed I certainly wasn't.
